I’ll explain how to navigate the menu, screen, and panel that’s the heart of the WordPress dashboard. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro user, you’ll appreciate knowing what all of the icons and buttons mean.

But before we get into that, let’s review the different pages in the admin area. You can use them to customize your site’s appearance and content, add new widgets, or edit existing widgets and posts.

Admin area

WordPress has a built-in admin area that allows website administrators to manage content, add and remove plugins, and customize your theme. It also allows you to manage and store your customer information.

While the Admin area is the heart of your website, there are dangers associated with it. Malicious third parties can compromise this area, resulting in devastating consequences.

Fortunately, there are ways to minimize and secure the admin area.

The admin area is divided into two distinct parts.

First, there’s the member area. This is the area for volunteers and members to communicate. From here, they can access the member directory and the roster, and post notes. Afterward, they can submit their reports and view the latest activity on their accounts.

The Admin Area also contains a footer, which is at the bottom of each administration page. There, you can find links that can help you manage your website.

Admin Panel

The Admin Panel is the area of your app where you can manage the settings for your application.

It is a good idea to include some control features, such as the ability to block harmful content and manage the frequency of your app’s use.

An optimally designed admin panel will save you time and money in the long run, as most challenges can be anticipated during the development phase.

Admin Panel: The admin panel is the core of most applications. Without this part, you cannot create content or manage the app. You can control the app, see user behavior, track transactions, and create new content.

Unlike regular users, only those with access rights can view and edit the admin panel. You can create an account only if you have sufficient permissions. To access the admin panel, you must be a registered user.

Admin Menu

If you have WordPress, you may have noticed a menu in the admin area.

The admin menu allows you to manage reader responses to your posts, manage your sidebars and add new pages. It’s also part of the admin_menu action, which tells WordPress that you’ve created a new page.

You can set your admin menu to show or hide this menu.

To customize the admin menu, you must know how to edit your theme. It is a convenient way to make changes to your website. It also allows you to change the icons and classes of your admin menu.

For example, if you’d like to change the icon, you can simply change the CSS ID or class. You can also change the name and appearance of the admin menu.

Admin Screen

The WordPress Admin screen contains a toolbar, main navigation, work area, footer, and more.

Depending on which part of the WordPress admin screen you’re looking at, the toolbar will contain links to various administration functions. Each toolbar item expands and contracts when you hover over them.

The main navigation bar contains the following submenus: Dashboard, Posts, Media, Pages, Comments, Plugins, Users, and Tools.

Users Panel

In addition to providing a way for your site visitors to create an account, the user’s panel in the admin area also gives you the opportunity to control who has access to what information.

You can manage users, roles, and view market reports. The user interface is simple yet effective, with icons for navigation. Graphs allow your team members to see their progress and status.

There are no unnecessary elements in the user’s panel. It is easy to find everything you need without getting lost.

To change the privileges granted to each user, simply select them and click “Edit”. You can delete or remove any user by checking their name in the User’s List or by clicking “delete” at the top of their row.

If the user has a different name than you do, you’ll have to contact the account owner. Otherwise, you can delete all the users and only change their privileges.

If you don’t know the account owner, you’ll have to go to the Accounts page to delete the account.

Media Section

The Media section in the WordPress Admin Area is the place where you store your media files.

You can easily upload, manage, and delete your media files from this section. The Media Library Assistant can help you manage your media files and add effects to your gallery. It’s similar to the media library included with WordPress and will tell you where your images will be displayed on your website.

It also helps you keep track of hundreds of optional parameters, including tags and metadata. It’s an excellent tool to keep your media section organized.

There are two screens within the Media section.

The first screen shows the Media Library and is used to manage uploaded media. If you’ve already uploaded media, you can edit it from here.

You can select multiple Media objects to delete them. You can also use the search feature to find the Media object you’re looking for.

The second screen is for adding new media. There are several ways to add media, including browsing the computer, dragging and dropping, or using the Browser Uploader button.
